How to play at 30

Use cheap Wrath to manage Mana; Eclipse and Clearcasting require different choices.

30 · Caster single target

Caster form with room to root; no Moonkin Form at ordinary 30.

  1. 1

Choose a lasting dot then cheap casts

Moonfire and selected Insect Swarm are useful if the enemy will survive their ticks. Fill with cheap Wrath from range; use Entangling Roots to create room, knowing damage can break it.

    Abilities, conditions & paragraph sources

The sequence is our recommendation. Linked client records support the mechanics and gates; they do not prove a measured optimal rotation.

    Talents Forever · druid client exporttalents tree/name/rank and spell_desc class|spell|rank; local content/talents.json and content/spells.json, build 1.60.1.70291
  2. 2

Eclipse only if you selected it

A first Eclipse rank at the 21st point lets Wrath shorten later Starfire casts. Track actual charges and a safe cast window; do not claim the maximum-rank reduction at ordinary level 30.

    Talents Forever · druid client exporttalents tree/name/rank and spell_desc class|spell|rank; local content/talents.json and content/spells.json, build 1.60.1.70291
  3. 3

Spend Clearcasting on a costly useful action

Omen of Clarity is baseline at 20, and Wrath does not consume its Clearcasting. Use an available useful Starfire or healing spell when the buff fits, rather than treating cheap Wrath as the proc spender.

30 · Caster damage and support

Tank has threat; control creature type and backup healing agreed.

  1. 1

Use current casts from safe range

Put Moonfire or Insect Swarm on a durable kill target then choose Wrath or a safe Starfire. Neither Moonkin’s party bonus nor Hurricane area damage is available in this current route.

    Abilities, conditions & paragraph sources

The sequence is our recommendation. Linked client records support the mechanics and gates; they do not prove a measured optimal rotation.

  2. 2

    Control by creature type

Roots can be cast indoors in Forever, but damage can break them and rooted enemies still attack nearby allies. Hibernate needs a Beast or Dragonkin; coordinate the clean target and position.

The sequence is our recommendation. Linked client records support the mechanics and gates; they do not prove a measured optimal rotation.

  3. 3

Help with an actual heal or dispel

Remove Curse or Abolish Poison on assigned allies, stop damage for a real Healing Touch or Regrowth rescue, and keep Rebirth’s Mana and seed when assigned a combat resurrection.

    Abilities, conditions & paragraph sources

The sequence is our recommendation. Linked client records support the mechanics and gates; they do not prove a measured optimal rotation.

30 · Control and selected dots

No current Hurricane; active targets and clean control targets are separated.

  1. 1

    Focus or selectively dot

Moonfire and Insect Swarm can cover a few durable tanked enemies, but every new dot costs Mana and can break Roots. Short-lived packs may be better served by focusing the kill target.

  2. 2

Overgrowth is an alternative cap choice

Overgrowth and Eclipse are row-five talents. A first Overgrowth rank supports its listed extra rooted target capacity; the ordinary Eclipse route does not also own that rank.

  3. 3

Recover by form or movement deliberately

Nature’s Grasp can provide a root response when melee reaches you. A Bear Form rescue requires its actual unlock and resource cost; it does not supply later Barkskin or Frenzied Regeneration at 30.

LEVEL BY LEVEL · ORDINARY POINT BUDGET

Your route from 10 to 60

Pick the route for your activity, then the level you need. Start at 30 for the last verified Beta stage. Later levels remain a separate plan.

Solo caster · Mana and controlled pulls

Ranged questing with room to cast, a long-lived target for damage over time, and occasional healing outside form.

When to use this route and what you give up
Use it when
10–30 follows the last-announced Beta cap; 31–60 is a future projection. Choose this for cheap Wrath, useful Roots and a later Wrath–Starfire rhythm. Moonkin starts at 40 in this route.
Trade-off
The early route favors Mana and cast time over maximized critical damage. It leaves multi-target Roots talents unselected; Moonkin prevents healing until you leave form.
Change direction when
For repeated extra enemies, move later Vengeance ranks into Improved Entangling Roots and Overgrowth. Use Feral if weapon-based questing fits your resources better.

Level 30 · 21 points · Talented 0/5

This level: Eclipse 1/3

At the current 30 ceiling, Wrath can prepare quicker Starfires. Spend those casts only while distance and target health justify them.

Stat priorities at 30

Upgrade priorities for level-30 play, not simulated stat weights. First keep enough health and resources for your role; compare upgrades of similar level. Hit and critical chance depend on the target and your allocated talents; no universal cap is assumed.

  2. Intellect
  3. Critical chance
  4. Stamina

Eclipse links Wrath and Starfire in this build. Compare usable spell power and Mana before narrow school bonuses; keep a recovery reserve if you must leave damage casting to heal.
