How to play at 30

Use direct Healing Wave tools at 30; place recovery totems before expecting their benefit.

30 · Healing build solo

Restoration points remain allocated; available Lightning Bolt and a weapon.

  1. 1

    Use a small damage opening

Open Lightning Bolt at range then use weapon attacks while preserving healing Mana. Searing Totem can help a stable longer fight; do not place four expensive totems for a short enemy.

    Abilities, conditions & paragraph sources

The sequence is our recommendation. Linked client records support the mechanics and gates; they do not prove a measured optimal rotation.

    Talents Forever · shaman client exporttalents tree/name/rank and spell_desc class|spell|rank; local content/talents.json and content/spells.json, build 1.60.1.70291
  2. 2

Water Shield is a selected exclusive shield

Keep Water Shield if selected for its Mana globes; only one Elemental Shield can be active, so Lightning Shield replaces it. Choose the current resource need rather than trying to maintain both.

  3. 3

Heal and control a recovery window

Use Healing Wave for a gap with time or Lesser Healing Wave for a quicker rescue. Earth Shock interrupts the enemy’s dangerous cast; Earthbind creates space for retreat and safe recovery.

30 · Direct healing and totems

Healing assignment clear; allies inside useful totem ranges.

  1. 1

    Prepare the useful set

Use the assigned Mana Spring or Healing Stream Water Totem and relevant Tremor or cleansing utility. Water totems compete for their element slot; position for the party rather than assuming every aura covers everyone.

The sequence is our recommendation. Linked client records support the mechanics and gates; they do not prove a measured optimal rotation.

  2. 2

Choose speed from the next hit

Healing Wave is the planned cast, Lesser Healing Wave the shorter response. Nature’s Swiftness, if selected at twenty-one points, can make a suitable Nature heal instant; reserve it for an actual timing gap.

  3. 3

Mana Tide needs people in range

Mana Tide Totem, if selected, is a short recovery window. Place it where Mana users can benefit and use before its ticks would be wasted at full Mana; recall leftover totems after the fight.

30 · Several healing gaps

No Chain Heal or Riptide at the current ordinary cap.

  1. 1

Heal the next lethal gap first

Use the faster Lesser Healing Wave or selected Swiftness plus Healing Wave on the ally who cannot wait. Then cover stable targets individually; a later Chain Heal is not available to rescue this pull.

    Talents Forever · shaman client exporttalents tree/name/rank and spell_desc class|spell|rank; local content/talents.json and content/spells.json, build 1.60.1.70291
  2. 2

    Use prevention and cleansing

Cure Poison, Cure Disease or the available Poison Cleansing Totem when relevant. Grounding or Tremor must match a mechanic they can affect; they are not general damage immunity.

  3. 3

Ask the tank for a safe position

If enemies hit you, move toward the tank and use Earthbind in a place away from the healer’s recovery lane. Stop damage spending, reposition totems only when the benefit exceeds Projection’s cost, and pause the next pull.

Choose for the job in front of you

LEVEL BY LEVEL · ORDINARY POINT BUDGET

Your route from 10 to 60

Pick the route for your activity, then the level you need. Start at 30 for the last verified Beta stage. Later levels remain a separate plan.

Party healing and totem recovery

Current 10–30: Healing Wave/Lesser Healing Wave, Water Shield and Mana Tide for a leveling party. Future 31–60: Riptide and learned Chain Heal, then regeneration and totem healing support.

When to use this route and what you give up
Use it when
Use this when healing is the regular job and the party allows drinking and totem placement before another pull. At 30 there is no Chain Heal or Riptide; both become relevant at 40 in this snapshot. This is an editorial healer route.
Trade-off
Nature’s Swiftness at 30 is chosen over the first Healing Way rank for an emergency cast. All 51 points remain Restoration; the route sacrifices melee and lightning damage talents. Tidal Mastery improves healing crits, not Lightning Bolt.
Change direction when
Choose Enhancement or Elemental when most time is spent killing solo quest enemies. A temporary off-heal in either damage tree is a different duty from this dedicated party route.

Mistakes that change the outcome

  • No Chain Heal priority at 30

Chain Heal and Riptide start at 40 in this snapshot. The current multiple-target plan uses direct heals, prevention and smaller pulls.

  • Reincarnation is not a safe wipe plan

Reincarnation is learned at 30 and requires its reagent with a long cooldown. Choose a safe resurrection position and time; standing immediately in hostile area damage can fail again.

The sequence is our recommendation. Linked client records support the mechanics and gates; they do not prove a measured optimal rotation.

Stat priorities at 30

Upgrade priorities for level-30 play, not simulated stat weights. First keep enough health and resources for your role; compare upgrades of similar level. Hit and critical chance depend on the target and your allocated talents; no universal cap is assumed.

  1. Healing
  2. Intellect
  3. Spirit
  4. Stamina

Keep enough Mana for healing and utility totems. Compare healing power with Intellect and Water Shield uptime; a mail item above your current training level is not a usable upgrade.

Water Shield ↗

The caster is surrounded by 3 globes of water. When a spell, melee, or ranged attack hits the caster or when one of the caster's healing spells gets a critical result, 2% of maximum mana is restored to the caster, expending one water globe. Only one globe will activate every few seconds. Lasts 10 min. Only one Elemental Shield can be active on the Shaman at any one time.
