How to play at 30
Poison the target before Mutilate, manage combo points, and preserve 25 Energy for Kick.
30 · Dagger and poison single target
Both weapons are daggers, poisons are applied; Mutilate selected at 21 points.
- 1

Prepare poisons and the opening
Open from Stealth with Cheap Shot for a safe control window, or Garrote when its bleed can finish ticking. Mutilate needs two daggers and deals more against a Poisoned target; watch the debuff rather than assuming the first swing poisoned it.

Your route from 10 to 60
Pick the route for your activity, then the level you need. Start at 30 for the last verified Beta stage. Later levels remain a separate plan.
Poisoned dagger pulls and finishers
Current 10–30: ordinary single pulls while preparing a pair of daggers and poisons for Mutilate at 30. Future 31–60: Venom and crit-driven combo points, then weapon accuracy and solo defense.
When to use this route and what you give up
- Use it when
- Choose this when both dagger slots and eligible poisoned enemies are available for the Mutilate phase. Before 30 use learned builders, with Backstab only from a valid position. Preserve Kick’s Energy when an interrupt is due. This order is editorial.
- Trade-off
- The early route gives up Remorseless Attacks and Gouge extension for crit and finisher economy. The final 35 Assassination / 16 Combat split omits Vigor and Improved Kidney Shot. Venom is a self-buff finisher at 40; it does not supply an instant damaging Envenom.
- Change direction when
- Choose Combat if your best weapon is not a dagger or you want straightforward Sinister Strike with occasional two-target Blade Flurry. Choose Subtlety for planned stealth openers and bleeds.
Level 30 · 21 points · Talented 0/5
At 30, gain a two-point builder requiring two daggers; its extra damage needs the target to be poisoned.
