CLEAR TARGETS, DELIBERATE ACTIONS

Class macros for a specific job

Choose a class, a talent path and a situation. Read the target behavior and ability conditions, then copy the complete text.

Filters and copying are loading. You can read and manually select every template below, including later levels. If controls do not appear, reload this page.

119 distinct player jobs · level 30 scope by default

Based on the dated 1.60.1.70291 ability snapshot. The last verified international Beta cap was 30; choose levels 31–60 for later planning. Templates need your input and normal spell requirements. Client gameplay is untested.

How to install and use a template
  1. Open /macro and create a character macro.
  2. Copy every line and match every spell name to the client spellbook. Shift-clicking a spell inserts its exact name.
  3. Check modifier bindings, talent access, form or stance, equipment, pet and reagents. Confirm target behavior in your client before grouping.

Specialization tags describe useful jobs, not exclusive skill access. Modifiers choose a branch; a valid target can fail range or cooldown without trying another branch. Normal global-cooldown and learned-rank rules remain.

Rejuvenation

Heal a party-frame mouseover without changing targets

Level 30 scope · from level 4DungeonsPvPParty support

Heal a living friendly mouseover; otherwise a living friendly target; otherwise yourself.

Before using it: Leave any form that blocks healing first; this macro does not cancel your form. A valid but out-of-range mouseover will not fall back to you. Target order tests validity, not range: a missing, dead or wrong-allegiance mouseover falls through, but a valid out-of-range or blocked one does not.

The macro does not look for a debuff or switch spells after failure. Level 30 scope · from level 8LevelingDungeonsPvP

Stop your current cast and attempt Entangling Roots on a living hostile mouseover, otherwise your current enemy. Your selected target stays unchanged.

Before using it: Forever permits Roots indoors. Use a form that permits it; damage may break the root and the baseline allows one rooted target. /stopcasting still runs if the target is invalid, immune or the cast fails. Level 30 scope · from level 6LevelingDungeonsUtility & movement

Apply Hunter’s Mark to the living enemy you selected. Coordinate the pull with your group.

Before using it: Learned at 6 in this snapshot. Marking is a hostile action; the macro contains no pet-attack or automatic-shot command. It does not pick a target for you.

Aimed Shot

Aimed Shot: Shift for your focus

Level 30 scope · from level 20DungeonsPvP

Normally shoot the current enemy; hold Shift to shoot your hostile focus without changing your selected target.

Before using it: Aimed Shot is baseline at 20 in Forever. The export gives an 8–35 yard range, a cast time and a cooldown shared with Multi-Shot. With Shift held, an invalid or out-of-range focus does not fall back to your current target. Check that Shift is not bound to a different action.

Focus compatibility is unverified in Forever. The Blizzard-hosted syntax guide says Classic Era lacks focus. Keep this Shift branch only after confirming support in your client, or use the mouseover alternative below.

Scatter Shot

Protect a Scatter Shot with attack and pet stops

Level 30 scope · from level 30PvPDungeons

Stop your own attack and casting, recall your pet, then use Scatter Shot. Hold Shift for your hostile focus; otherwise use your current enemy.

Before using it: This is an active Marksmanship talent, not a trainer spell. The tree requires 20 prior tree points plus its own point; the spell export lists level 30 and a 15-yard range. Any damage breaks the disorient. The stop/recall commands run even if the focus is invalid; existing periodic damage is not removed.

Cleanse

Cleanse a friendly mouseover

Levels 31–60 planning · from level 42DungeonsPvPParty support

Keep your enemy selected while cleansing a living friendly mouseover. With no valid mouseover, use a friendly target or yourself.

Before using it: Learned at 42, above the last verified international Beta cap of 30. This is a later-level planning template. It does not decide which harmful effect to remove or inspect debuffs. Target order tests validity, not range: a missing, dead or wrong-allegiance mouseover falls through, but a valid out-of-range or blocked one does not.

Hammer of Justice

Choose your focus explicitly for Hammer of Justice

Level 30 scope · from level 8DungeonsPvP

Hold Shift to stun a hostile focus; otherwise use the selected enemy.

Before using it: First rank learned at 8, with a 10-yard range. A hostile focus is not automatically in range or vulnerable to stuns. Shift never falls back to the current enemy.

Focus compatibility is unverified in Forever. The Blizzard-hosted syntax guide says Classic Era lacks focus. Keep this Shift branch only after confirming support in your client, or use the mouseover alternative below.

Before using it: First learned at 8; removes one disease and one poison. It does not remove harmful Magic, a Curse or a Bane. Before using it: Requires a valid party recipient and no Forbearance. It prevents the recipient from attacking or using physical abilities, replaces your Blessing, and may make enemies turn away from a tank. Level 30 scope · from level 10DungeonsParty support

Out of combat, resurrect a dead friendly mouseover, otherwise your dead friendly current target.

Before using it: Learned at 10; not a combat resurrection. The normal Mana cost, ten-second first-rank cast and form restrictions remain. It never selects a corpse or bypasses a blocked line of sight. Target order tests validity, not range: a missing, dead or wrong-allegiance mouseover falls through, but a valid out-of-range or blocked one does not.

Level 30 scope · from level 30LevelingDungeonsPvPParty support

Before using it: Requires the active Discipline talent and its route. Friendly and hostile ranges differ. Purge

Purge a hostile focus, with an explicit Shift key

Level 30 scope · from level 12DungeonsPvP

Hold Shift for your hostile focus; otherwise remove a beneficial magic effect from your current enemy.

Before using it: First learned at 12. This is an offensive dispel; it cannot remove harmful effects from an ally. It does not detect whether a removable buff exists.

Focus compatibility is unverified in Forever. The Blizzard-hosted syntax guide says Classic Era lacks focus. Keep this Shift branch only after confirming support in your client, or use the mouseover alternative below.

Lesser Healing Wave · Healing Wave

Lesser Healing Wave; Shift for Healing Wave

Level 30 scope · from level 20LevelingDungeonsPvPParty support

Choose Lesser Healing Wave normally or Healing Wave with Shift. Both use a friendly mouseover, friendly target, then yourself.

Before using it: Requires both learned spells, normal Mana and a form that permits casting. Actual cast time depends on rank and talents; you choose the trade-off. A valid out-of-range ally does not cause a self-cast retry. Target order tests validity, not range: a missing, dead or wrong-allegiance mouseover falls through, but a valid out-of-range or blocked one does not.

Before using it: Both first ranks require a Soul Shard, Mana and bag space. The macro casts a creation spell, not the resulting item, and never stores anyone’s soul by itself. Normal unique-item and logout expiry rules remain.

Devour Magic

Felhunter: friendly dispel; Shift offensive dispel

Level 30 scope · from level 30DungeonsPvPPet managementParty support

Normally dispel a friendly mouseover or friendly target. Shift tries a hostile mouseover or hostile target instead. There is no self fallback.

Before using it: Requires an active living Felhunter that has learned Devour Magic, pet Mana, range and line of sight from the pet. You identify removable Magic effects. Wrong demon, cooldown or a valid out-of-range mouseover does not switch target or branch. Before using it: Requires a living Succubus or Incubus with Seduction learned, pet Mana and range from the demon. Only Humanoids qualify and damage breaks it. Repeating the follow command can interrupt the demon’s control; existing periodic damage remains and recall runs even if the cast fails. Pummel

Pummel a nearby mouseover in Berserker Stance

Levels 31–60 planning · from level 38DungeonsPvP

Prefer a living hostile mouseover, otherwise your current enemy, without changing the selected target.

Before using it: Learned at 38, beyond the level 30 scope. Requires Berserker Stance, melee range and Rage. This does not equip a shield or change stance; you identify interruptible casts and obey its ten-second cooldown. Target order tests validity, not range: a missing, dead or wrong-allegiance mouseover falls through, but a valid out-of-range or blocked one does not.

The conditions are part of the template.

A valid focus or mouseover is tried first even when it is out of range. Stop and pet commands can run when a later cast fails. Passive talents are never cast, and these jobs do not calculate a combat rotation.
